TABLE
Played (won) points

Likely Lads 2 (2) 6
Thatched Cottage 2 (2) 6
Racks Pack 1 (1) 3
Farmers Rats 1 (1) 3
Rose 1 (0) 0
Golden Cross/Earls Angels 2 (0) 0

The Rose failed to put out a team for their match against the Likely Lads, earning the lads a a 12-0 victory and allowing them to take advantage of the Racks Pack bye and open up an early advantage in the frames-for column.

Firstly with frames-for counting in the event of a tie I think it's a bit off to give a 12-0 victory, especially in such a tight division. I'm sure Captain Dingley wouldn't agree with me...neither would committee chairman Dingley! I don't know what the answer is, but perhaps some sort of pools panel type decision should take place. Anyone have any better ideas? Email them to Rackspack@hotmail.co.uk - the best suggestions will be forward on to the committee.

Secondly I don't know the background to the Rose not turning up to what should have been their first game of the season, but really it pretty bad form if you've entered a team and can't get it together for your own home games. Come on lads - must do better.

Its about time you changed to the new MPL logo, and caught up with the new rules changed by the players (not committee) that did come along to the last AGM !

Thank you for your feedback. On behalf of rackspack.blogspot.com I apologise for any insinuation that the committee might actually have any influence over the choosing or implementation of the rules, or in fact they might actually be involved in the running of the league ;-)

We'll make sure the new logo is up and about for the next update.

Being new to this maidenhead cross dressers league, i was surprised to read i'm playing for a team called the likely lads.....something el capitano dingers omitted from the tapping up scandal via Marlow el presidente Stephanos Carmichealdoppolopidus, however now i am fully aware that my fellow teammates are homosexual i am happy to continue with the "Teambonding" that is not a much enjoyed hoop seesion with Andos 'Borat' Brant but the full on assault on taking down the rackspack....which seems a poorly derived connotation to a bunch of old rubbish not very good singers personally a bad choice of team name, that aside in the nature of being a good sportsman i wish you the best of luck for the season and remind you all that in my all my debut seasons for a new team have been title winning trebles...........nuff said laterz

nb KW - 12-0 is fair in my opinion for a team who cant field a team......ive got some kleenex in the car if you need a used sticky tissue?

Thank you for your comments, and for being so wordy especially as English is clearly not your first language! We at Rackspack thank you for your best wishes and return them. It certainly is an enviable record that teams you have debuted for have gone on to win the treble. Who knows, perhaps this year you might actually get a game too? Good luck to you!
